The Danube Region’s remote rural communities face major challenges such as high emigration, brain drain, an ageing population, and the growing need for digital skills. The SMILE Incubator project seeks to address these issues by empowering young people with the skills and opportunities to lead, participate, and drive sustainable change in their rural communities. Our main focus is on youth from underdeveloped rural areas.
This survey is the first step in this process. We want to understand the current situation regarding social media use, leadership, and civic participation among rural youth. To gain a meaningful overview, we kindly invite you to take about 10 minutes to answer the following questions. Your input is essential and will help us learn as much as possible.
Your answers will be kept strictly confidential, analysed anonymously and presented only in aggregated form. Data will be stored according to academic standards and ethical guidelines. Participation is entirely voluntary and does not involve any financial or other compensation.
